GRAND PRAIRIE, TX—NOVEMBER 11, 2017—She Eat Fire, a half-sister to 2017 Texas Classic Derby(G1) winner Apolltical Chad, picked up her third consecutive win by defeating Jess Jumpn Beau by three-quarters in the $45,979 Texas Classic Juvenile Invitational Saturday at Lone Star Park.

Ridden by AQHA Racing champion jockey Ricky Ramirez She Eat Fire completed the 400 yards in :20.092 seconds over the fast track into an 11 mph crosswind.

Leading Lone Park trainer Trey Wood saddled the Corona Cartel filly to her fourth win in six starts for owner Paragon Farms LLC. A finalist in the Ruidoso Futurity(G1) last summer, the sorrel filly started her current win streak on August 18 with a win in the All American Futurity(G1) trials at Ruidoso before winning her Texas Classic Futurity trial on October 21.

Bred in Oklahoma by William Smith, from the Shazoom mare Fast Prize Tracy, She Eat Fire used the $20,000 Invitational winners' purse to boost her bankroll to $88,121.

Jess Jumpn Beau, 11th fastest qualifier in the October 21 trials, earned $13,794 for finishing second. Saul Ramirez, Jr. trains the Apollitical Jess filly for owner/breeder Francisco J. Garza. Eddie Sanchez had the riding call aboard the filly out of Jumpn Beau Chick by Jumpn Chick.

Aqua Girl, a royally bred daughter of Corona Cartel from the First Down Dash mare Aquafina, finished a neck back in third-place for owner Mike Vaughn. Eddie D. Willis saddled the bay filly with Juan Francisco Garcia, Jr. riding. Bred in Utah by McColee Land & Livestock, Aqua Girl earned $6,897 for her effort.

U R My Queen, T Velocity, Nymeria, Howey Winmor, Hierarchy and Look One Time completed the field. Mighty Pants was scratched.
